ReFramed

Every time I go to an antique or thrift store, I can’t help myself from looking at things, thinking about their story, their past, who they belonged to at some point. I also look at everything wondering if I could put paint on it somewhere. And so, my idea for ReFramed eventually hit me one day; take picture frames that have been given away and give them something to hold again. A simple idea, nothing revolutionary and probably not something no one’s ever thought of. But only I can put my own art into it. And so I’ve been mindfully sifting through all of the shelves full of frames, and picking the ones where I see an idea of a painting it could hold. Any piece I do is unique and will never be replicated - truly on of a kind.
